GENERAL
♡ All works must be applicants’ own creations. There is a zero tolerance policy for AI-generated works or plagiarism of any kind. Anyone thought to be using AI or applying with plagiarised creations will be removed from consideration.
♡ All samples are to be provided in a Google drive folder, made shareable for easy viewing. The mod team is not responsible for any applications where the samples are unviewable due to incorrect sharing options. If samples are inaccessible, the applicant will no longer be considered.
♡ Please be certain to include your name on the drive folder and titles in the file name of the samples included.
♡ Each applicant will be reviewed objectively based on the quality of their work rather than their perceived popularity or follower count in the community.
♡ Works can be from other zines as long as you've asked for permission to share the piece if the zine is unreleased.
WRITERS
♡ Writers must provide 2-3 samples that represent your best writing, with a combined total word count of 7k (with an allowance of 100 words over). You are not obligated to reach 7k, assuming all other requirements have been met.
If the combined word count exceeds 7100 words allowed, it will not be considered.
♡ One sample must be no more than 3k words.
♡ One writing sample is required to be a standalone complete piece. Excerpts are allowed for the other samples, given that context is provided for the overall work the excerpt comes from.
♡ At least one sample must portray Kirishima Eijirou/Bakugou Katsuki as the primary relationship.
♡ At least one sample must be an omegaverse AU.
♡ If applicants are interested in writing NSFW as a contributor, at least one sample must be NSFW in nature.
♡ Each applicant will be judged on their use of syntax, grammar, spelling, flow, storytelling, and characterisation.
PAGE ARTISTS
♡ 2-3 samples required, An optional 1-2 extra samples may be provided.
♡ At least one sample must contain a detailed background.
♡ At least one sample should be full colour (rendered), other samples can contain flat colours/simple backgrounds.
♡ Both digital and traditional art samples are accepted (traditional art requires that the sample be a good quality scan of the piece).
♡ At least one sample must portray Kirishima Eijirou/Bakugou Katsuki as the focus relationship.
♡ If applicants are interested in creating NSFW as a contributor, at least one sample must be NSFW in nature.
♡ Omegaverse AU samples are not required, but are encouraged.
♡ Each applicant will be judged on the rendering, composition, and grasp of proportions and dimensions of their artwork.
MERCH ARTISTS
♡ 2-3 samples of merch designs. 1-2 extra samples are welcome and additional images of physical products are welcomed but not required.
♡ Applicants are welcome to submit NSFW merch samples, however, at least one sample must be SFW in nature.
♡ Merch Artists are welcome to apply for both merch and page artist. That option will be provided in the application.
♡ Each applicant will be judged on idea, style, and execution within typical manufacturing guidelines for that type of product.

What’s the anthology’s theme?
The anthology is centered around the relationship between Kirishima Eijirou and Bakugou Katsuki in the Omegaverse. Works will portray hot weather, warm hearts, and/or the spicy heats and ruts we love so much about this AU.
Why is the zine now an anthology?
Due to the distribution of contributor applications received for writers and artists, we felt that an anthology would be better suited for the project. We're looking forward to allowing omegaverse kiribaku writers the space to create and an amazing group of artists to support the works and create beautiful merch pieces.
Do you have to use the slashes in A/B/O?
Yes. The entire mod team and the community as a whole should always use A/B/O with the slashes included. Omitting the slashes turns the letters into a slur used against the indigenous population of Australia.
We will always use either A/B/O, A/O/B, or omegaverse to reference the AU.
Is this anthology for profit or charity?
This zine will be Pay For Production for the physical anthology and any physical merchandise. Our digital anthology will be offered at a set price, with proceeds being donated to an LGBTQ+ charity chosen by the team and contributors.
What does P4P mean?
Pay For Production is a zine model where the final products will be sold at the same cost that it will take to manufacture and ship. This means that there will not be a profit for the mod team or contributors, keeping the cost of the anthology and applicable merchandise as cheap as possible for consumers.
Will there be Guest Contributors?
No, our anthology will not be offering guest spots. All contributors will be accepted on the basis of their submitted applications.
Will all applicants receive an email regardless of
acceptance or rejection?
Yes, every applicant will receive an email response with the decision our mod team made on their application.
Will you provide feedback on applications not accepted?
We will not be providing feedback on specific applications that don’t get accepted.
What type of content will the anthology include?
The physical anthology will include both SFW and NSFW content. There’s no creative restrictions on creating one type over the other so long as it fits within manufacturer guidelines. However, there will be content deemed problematic that won't be permitted.
We will not be including a problematic add on.
Are there any content restrictions; certain banned hardcore kinks or themes?
Content must put Kirishima Eijirou and Bakugou Katsuki at the center of the plot. Platonic/QPR focused works are acceptable. We will not be including polyamorous/OT3 or xReader content in this anthology.NOTE: all content across all aspects of the anthology will be tagged accordingly.Any content in the following chart will be considered problematic for the purposes of our anthology. Due to lack of sufficient interest, we will not be doing a
problematic add on anthology. The below content is not permitted to be in the pieces for the anthology.

What are the expectations for contributors?
Contributors are required to join the discord server for the project and participate in every check in. It’s the responsibility of each contributor to communicate with the mod team in the event that they need an extension or need to drop from the project. Failure to meet check in deadlines without proper communication of their needs will result in being removed from the project.
Page artists and writers are encouraged to collaborate on a piece together but it’s not required.PHYSICAL ANTHOLOGY
Writers: up to 2 written works between 3k - 5.5k words
(two works must not exceed 9k words)
Page Artists: up to two fully rendered creations (full colour or B&W with shading accepted)
2 fully rendered illustrations fitting a single/two page spread
2 comics between 2 - 4 pages
1 illustration + 1 comic
Merch Artists: up to two physical merch designs, submitted as a finished pdf file with separate layers that follow the requirements set for their specific product
one additional digital merch design to accompany the PDF version of the anthology
Will there be an even distribution of dynamics and omegaverse gender combinations in the art and fics?
Top/Bottom Dynamics
We will encourage creators to create what dynamic they prefer and will not require content to change if one dynamic appears more frequently over another. Explicit switching is also acceptable and all dynamics will be tagged where possible. We also will not restrict who will top and bottom based on their omegaverse gender.
Omegaverse genders/pairings
We will be making certain to create as balanced a distribution in different alpha, beta, and omega roles as possible. We will also try to balance the pairing combinations. While we want to see works of both A!Kirishima/O!Bakugou and the inverse, we also don’t want all works to only represent Alpha/Omega relationships. For this reason we will ask for variety during the pitch period.
Will this project have merchandise?
Yes, our goal is to provide physical merchandise alongside our physical anthology, as well as digital merchandise to accompany the digital version.
